Excess eight is something that can affect us all – old or young – at some point during our lives, and losing weight is often portrayed as a problem.
However, it doesn’t have to be that way, as there are a number of simple rules we can follow to help in the quest for losing weight.
The first is, logically, to watch what we eat – cut down on the fatty foods, and concentrate on those that add roughage and provide the protein we need. Fatty foods can quench hunger, but without adding the necessary ingestion of energy that we need.
Follow the recommendations in fruit and vegetable intake, as these can be beneficial in adding the necessary vitamins to the system without unnecessary excess weight.
Exercise
The second is to follow an exercise regime. This doesn’t mean we should all go to the gym for several hours a day, just that we can add exercise to our routine without much effort.
Try walking to the shops if you normally take the car, or put aside half an hour on each day for a brisk walk, an enjoyable pastime that can help burn off the excess fat without too much in the way of effort.
If walking isn’t your thing, buy a bike – cycling is a very enjoyable pursuit, as well as being useful in that it gets you from A to B in an environmentally friendly manner – and use that as a regular exercise routine to keep your body healthy ad fit.
Losing weight need not be a chore, and can be very enjoyable if following a few of the sensible tips given above, and the trick is that once and effective weight loss routine has been discovered, keep to it and you will not carry excess weight again.
