The title may sound like a contradiction in terms, but when all is said and done not eating is not a healthy option!

We all have to eat something, and enough, in order to stay healthy, and the fact remains that there are some foods that help, and others that most certainly don’t.

Eating Slow

Not only that, but the manner in which food is eaten is also important: eating creates enzymes that are necessary to break down foods in our system, and doing so too quickly can result in those enzymes not being utilized to the best effect.

Eating Fast Create Fat

Too many times we have not enough time to correctly digest a meal, shoveling our food in and swallowing quickly to get it out of the way.

While this may make us feel less hungry, it remains that we have not allowed our system to process the food properly – it has not been broken down correctly, and therefore leaves too much behind that can seep into the system and create fat.

The trick is to chew food properly and thoroughly – hence producing the enzymes that do the job – and to allow a proper amount of time for our meals.

This is particularly important for breakfast, the meal most of us miss, as this can be the most important intake of food of the day.

What we eat is equally important; lets face it, we all know that foods rich in fat are not the advised intake for those wanting to lose weight, and that fruits, vegetables and protein rich foods are necessary for the process, and these rules are, indeed, very simple to follow.
